The Challenge of Islam in America: A wake-up call for the Church
This session exposes the Islamic agenda in America. This is an eye opener. It
shows real-life examples on how Islam is dangerously penetrating our education
system, laws, politics, and culture.
A Comprehensive Biblical Response to Islam in America: 3 critical
areas
This session highlights the need for evangelism, apologetics, and
accountability. The key components of theological Islam, popular Islam, and
political Islam and how they each relate to one another are explained. In this
session participants learn the importance of evangelism, the importance of
apologetics and understanding biblical truth to answer the theological
challenges of Islam, and the importance of speaking out publicly. (Go

class.)
Islam 101a: Worldviews
This session distinguishes the different types of Muslims, their traditions, and
their beliefs. Also, this session compares the Muslim worldview vs. the Western
mindset.
Islam 101b: Basic beliefs
This session presents the basic beliefs and practices of Muslims. The 5 pillars
of Islam and the 5 articles of faith of Islam are explained. Some additional
theological issues and recent trends in Islam are also presented.
Mohammed: This session teaches the history of Mohammed and his influences on the theology of Islam as well as the Islamic culture of today. Participants are also challenged on their knowledge of their own faith through a combination of comparison and contrast as well as apologetics. For example, we’ll look at the question of was Mohammed a prophet of God? Why or why not? This is the first in what is designed as a series of eight classes yet it can also be used as a standalone module.
Quran: This session looks at the Qur’an to determine what it really is. Is it the “Muslim Bible” or something rather different? We take an in depth look at its origins, development and begin the comparison of the god of the Qur’an versus the God of the Bible. This is the second in what is designed as a series of eight classes yet it can also be used as a standalone module.
Jesus in the Quran: A look at what the Quran says about Jesus, the names and titles used, his actions and character. This is contrasted with the biblical Jesus.
Theological Obstacles to the Gospel: This class looks at the most common objections Muslims have to the gospel and their reasoning behind each objection. Biblical answers to each objection is provided.
COMING SOON The Nicene Creed: Background and Content: A review of the historical setting of the Nicene Creed as well as the actual content and theological meaning of each statement. The heresies addressed by the Creed are presented along with their influence on the Arabian Peninsula at the time of Mohammed. Comparisons and contrasts with Islamic doctrine are presented throughout the class.
